Bishop Albert L. Bussey, Jr., DD
Bishop Bussey was born in Miami, Florida on January 30, 1966 to Bishop Albert L. Bussey, Sr. and Overseer Pastor Wilma J. Bussey. At an early age, his family moved to Valdosta, Georgia to start a ministry there.
Bishop Bussey received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in September 1987. He served as deacon for several years before accepting the call to preach in the fall of 1993. He preached his introductory sermon and received his ministerial license in January 1994. In September of the same year under the leadership of Bishop Albert Bussey, Sr., Bishop Bussey planted a church, Victory Tabernacle. He served as interim pastor until his ordination on April 9, 1995. Bishop A. L. Bussey, Sr. appointed him as pastor on April 30th. On February 7, 2009, after making full proof of his ministry, he was consecrated to the office of Bishop.
After serving faithfully under the leadership of his father, Bishop Albert Bussey, Sr. and with the blessing of Pastor Wilma Bussey, the Lord led Bishop Bussey to establish an independent ministry. He founded Victory Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. on April 26, 1998 of which he presently serves as Presiding Prelate. The local church was renamed Victory Temple. Since that time God has added to the ministry.
He is a 1984 Senior Superlative graduate of Lowndes County High School, Valdosta, Ga. and a 1988 graduate of Valdosta State College where he received his Bachelor of Music Degree. He received a Master of Post-Secondary Education from Troy University in June 2009. Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Fl. in 2019. After serving 30 years as a music educator, 27 of which were in Ware County, Bishop Bussey retired from the Ware County School System on July 1, 2018.
Since March of 1988, he has been married to the love of his life, Crystal Ann Norman. They have 4 children: Albert III (Stacey), Anthony (Abi), Andrew and Amber and one granddaughter. Bishop Albert L. Bussey, Jr. is a pastor's pastor who loves people young and old! He can often be found lending a hand where ever there is a need. The Lord uses him in many ways and as he shares the "VISION", God is allowing it to come to pass!
